I think they would do a sick Soul Sacrifice, but they'd need some bongos. I can see fishman doing the drumsolo and then trey just on the ground doing the crazy solo.
Heaven. Woodstock Style.

How about a Queen album or ELP or Mary had a little lamb as long as the 4 of them play it for 2 hours that is cool.

Didn't they do that at some show...

I am completely drawing a blank, but I remember it during a Harpua story.

Halloween maybe?

You just got to play it backwards.

They didn't play the song, per se. Trey was just describing how Jimmy put on "Barney's Greatest Hits" and he mock-sang 1 line of "I love you, You love me, we're a happy family...".
But Jimmy put it on backwards and "War Pigs" came out.

It was Halloween '94.

Maybe they've already played it, but I would love to see "Light My Fire". I know it's not that obscure song, and everyone has heard it, but I think that Page would do an amazing job at tearing up the boards with this. It's already like an 8 minute song, so imagine what Phish could have done with it........
We passed a goddamn gas station every 10 yards for 1000 miles, but when you really need one, you end up walking your ass off. This is no way to run a desert!

Mission in the Rain, JGB. Would have loved to hear that, possibly a San Fran show. I wrote up a setlist once and I had that on there, I don't know where that list got off to, though...

i'd like "Dead Flowers" by the Stones. not a big jammer or anything, just a great tune. trey and page could really get thier country on in this one.

Ive always wanted to hear Phish play Eric Johnson's "Cliffs of Dover". Ive put it on almost all of my Dream setlists on the create your own setlist thread. I told Mike once back on Fall Tour 98 when I was a little tipsy. He ignored the request in the nicest way possible.

The greatest lost track of all time
The Late Greats' Turpentine
You can't hear it on the radio
Can't hear it anywhere you go
The best band will never get signed
The Kay-Settes starring Butchers Blind
So good you won't ever know
They never even played a show
Can't hear them on the radio
The greatest singer in rock 'n' roll
Would have to be Romeo
His vocal cords are made of gold
He just looks a little too old
The best songs will never get sung
The best life never leaves your lungs
So good you won't ever know
You'll never hear it on the radio
Can't hear it on the radio
Well, here we are, Mr. Pilgrim, trapped in the amber of this moment. There is no why.
