Well, I don't know a lot about pro sports teams. I once talked about Trey to a dude wearing a corduroys and a whalers tee. He sorta got confused that I thought his hockey shirt was a Phish shirt.

I mean, I know it was a while ago, but don't you remember the SuperSonics? or hearing about the Brooklyn Dodgers or Baltimore Colts?

I am 100% sure that it was not the hockey team, it was the lot shirt. He was wearing it the entire scene at the water park, hmmmm.......

LOL. My buddy Robbie rocked the Kemp Supersonics jersey the whole time we were at the Gorge for Phish in '09. He thought he was gonna get lotsa love on that lot because of it, but I bet you he didn't get one comment the whole weekend. He was pretty bummed.

Oh...and if we're just busting out some old skool win ITT, then:

Had the same thing happen with a Whalers hat.

^ I once gave someone a compliment on their shirt, then realized it was a hockey team.

Also, they should have rotated the Expos logo around 180 degrees, making it a W. Would have been so sweet. Would have been a good color scheme too- red, white, and blue = America's team in the capital. Like this...

 you and Drew definitely didn't pay much attention to sports growing up...the expos were in Montreal, that's why it's an M, and why it wouldn't make sense to associate the red whit and blue of America with them

not really sure what they were going for with the color scheme but these were sick-

The Whalers? Barrow's (Alaska) high school football team is called the Whalers. Check out their field:

For reals. That is what they play on. Right on the shore of the Arctic Ocean. And yes I just managed to fit Alaska into this somehow. :shifty: Carry on then... :D

Expos FTW!!! I always thought it was so sad when they would show the games and there were like 12 people in the stands. Oh well, I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I remember they had Miguel Batista, Cliff Floyd, Livan Hernandez, Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, Javier Vasquez, lots of good players went through there.

alright, so this one isn't direct to Phish, but I think it was put in by Phish fans because we've already talked about Trey being mentioned in a previous episode of the Office...but I just watched to latest episode of The Office, and Andy is skating at a roller rink by himself and the dj asks if he would like him to play anything since he's the only one there....Andy says, yeah how bout some Dave Matthews Band, 'no hits, deep tracks only' then the dj puts on one of his most mainstream songs and Andy starts to say no I said no hits, deep tracks only, then starts to bob his head and gets into it anyway

I think this was a dig on DMB fans, cause like no matter how hardcore or whatever they try to be or make DMB seem to be...they can't resist his most popular stuff

edit: just came across this-

rather be on tour..

Levi I know my Baseball! I was saying that they should have converted the M of Montreal to a W of Washington when they moved to Washington. That is all.

He really was a good hitter. Though, I do wonder how long his career was extended by going to Colorado and banging out homers in that thin air for years.
