skip to 3:04 if you want just the phish portion but the whole sketch is pretty damn funny

^That was sort of funny for SNL. The concept and dancers were good. Mick Jagger doing Steven Tyler sucked pretty hard. It was like watching Mick Jagger do a really really terrible job of acting like Steven Tyler.

^ I came to the conclusion after making it all the way through the movie Freejack, that I never wanted to see Mick Jagger try to act again. Still...that sketch is pretty funny. The dude on mushrooms pretty much makes it.

Still, there is not enough air-guitaring/air drumming/air-enourmous-bass-playing, to be true to my festival dancing style. Good amount of pointing and nodding though...they nailed that part.

To be fair, there was a pretty hilarious SNL sketch where Mike Myers played Mick Jagger and Mick played Keith Richards…pretty damn hilarious and Mick nailed the Richards pretty nicely. I looked for a youtube but apparently SNL are bastards and removed all their good stuff. Heaven forbid I get clips from when they were actually good.

Here's another video - watch it quick before they remove it

Aparently NBC execs were not too happy with the use of Tweeprise and it's connection to Phelps puffing past

They have put new music over it since it's initial broadcast.

Thx man that's really cool. Yeah I saw where they changed the music but I thought tweeprise fit really well, and not for the bs drug connection.

http://www.jambands.com/news/2013/02/08/why-two-phish-t-shirts-were-on-parks-and-rec-last-night

On last night’s episode of the NBC show Parks & Recreation a character named Harris wore two different Phish t-shirts (one was blue, the other was purple). In both scenes, he tries to get the town of Pawnee, IN to create a “topless park.”The fictional character Harris was played by Parks & Rec writer and producer Harris Wittels, an avid Phish fan who has name-checked The Vermont Quartet on the show in the past. (Wittels played a character who has seen Phish over 200 times and lives with his mom last season.) When he’s not on the set of Parks, Wittels also hosts the comedy podcast Analyze Phish. He also recently spoke to our sister site Relix.com about his love of Phish and attempts to get his fellow Parks writers into the band. Click here to read our interview with the 28-year-old writer.

Howard Stern had a Subway Talent Show on Monday and there was some mentions of Phish. The specific band that brings them up starts at about 26m, but more specifically at 32m and 38m.

^ A couple weeks ago they were discussing ZZ Top, and wanted to hear La Grange. They couldn't find the original in the Sirius database, so they played Phish. And after a few minutes of it ragged on it. It wasn't a great version of the song to be honest.

Watching a show called "Wicked Tuna", which appears to be about...you guessed it; catching tuna. And buddy's wearing a Phish shirt. The fish got away on him though, so I don't know what that says.

I'm wondering if the stadium crowd was really doing that or if someone ran audio from an actual Phish show. Anyone see this game on TV?

^ Someone posted that they fed in the chant and the guitar part over the PA. So I think they are trying to get it to start, but we will see. Would be really fucking cool if it did. I might have a new Best Coast team to cheer for

My buddy was at the game. It was definitely pumped through the PA. Give it a few weeks and it'll be thunderous!
