I've seen a few shows, and that was up there with one of the best things I've witnessed and been a part of.

Just sayin'...

Oh, and I completely agree about the Miami Ghost and several other moments in Miami, I guess that just wasn't the opinion of the OKP masses :?

If this contest started yesterday the Miami songs may have gotten more attention as the recordings became more engrained. That being said the best 1 song ineas them perform last year was the Sand at Camden!

There was a ton of Miami, it just didn't make it to the final rounds.

yeah thats what I'm saying. I think they deserved to make it to the later rounds. bigb makes my point better than I do, if the Miami jams were more engrained in peoples skulls they would've survived longer cuz miami was tighhtttt.

I went with Gin on this one, Sand was really close for me though....

I still think Red Rocks Tweez and Miami BOTT were the best Jams to my ears this year...Miami Ghost is right up there as well (Hell, Miami Tweez should be up there too)...

I think we can all agree that 2009 was pretty damn awesome compared to PH and the Breakup Hiatus...

I went with Sand. So glad to see that jam still in the running, as it is definitely my favorite jam of 2009.

I listened to this "Sand" the other day.

Am I the only one that wasn't completely blown away by it? I mean, it's good...but I wasn't like "OH SHIT!"

Personally, I wasn't really crazy about any DWDs in '09. :shifty:

I thought there were two 'great' DWDs in 2009...Hampton and Fest 8.

It's my favorite jam of '09, and I still wasn't completely blown away by it. I haven't been completely blown away by anything from '09 (except in a live setting of course). I just thought that Sand was a moment of brilliance at a surprisingly early time in the comeback. The way it builds and builds and builds is one of the things I love most about Phish.

Unfortunately, I can def see where your coming from. Miami was a good step in the mind-blowing direction IMO, but they still weren't completely there. :silent:
