Reading a lot of negativity on some other corners of the internet. What happened last night? Setlist doesn't look amazing, but I'm hearing some real bad stuff about how they're playing. I thought Trey looked a little out of it during that Seattle stream...hopefully it's nothing.

Trey looked great last night IMO and played well 2nd set. 2nd set had a nice flow to it. Ghost and Tweezer ripped. I think there's a 2/28/03 Tweezer chord tease during that Tweezer as well. Fuck PT, they don't know shit. That place is disgusting right now.

Haha. Yeah I avoid PT like the plague. I mostly was referring to comments I was reading on facebook, in particular in the thread of comments for the pictures of last nights shows. I'm sure it's just a lot of PT kids trolling, but again, I don't have the PT context for the entire conversation and not sure I'd want it anyway.

I just listened to the audio from last night so I don't know what it looked like. That being said, I think the jamming last night was great. Some cool new tones being utilized and some great spaces explored, particularly in Chalkdust>Ghost, Tweezer and Piper>Wading was really nice as well. I even liked the jam in Ocelot.

But, I heard a lot of flubs in the songs, mainly timing issues and false starts by Trey and Fish. Probably some of the worst flubs I've heard in a long time. No wonder they didn't go for any of the more complex compositions when the fucked up so much on STFTFP and BOAF.

But hopefully that is just a little rust or jetlag and they go into the rest of the tour with more focus.

Show came up on random on Youtube.

Not much to take away, except for Ghost, gets pretty pretty at times.
