the best and only version of this song was at big cypress coming out of sand, and i love it. incredibly hypnotic. i also love the studio version, cuz its just weird.

I seriously didn't even recognize what it was when I was at Cypress Live. I figured they were just singing gibberish or something. It wasn't until I heard it on tape that I recognized the words. Fairly trippy jam though...

Cypress jam is bar none... I agree it was hard to remember, but seeing what you wrote El Bastarde, It is clear as, cough...ummm night....

i remember mike playing with his voice recorder for the "vocal" part.. think i was under the cypress tree at that point. i refuse to listen to the discs until the boards come out... i almost took the plunge a few months back but i know it won't do it justice. what a crazy night.

Mike was mentioning this on the hotline the other day. Might still be on there.

It was pretty ramble-rific though. Didn't make much sense.

I don't really have much to say in the Q section, other than I must post to complete pwnage.

I believe Greg some time ago went on an epic tear and posted in every thread in every section of the Individual Songs board.

I love this song. The Siket Disk is AMAZING. I love it. I was so happy they played these jams live. I remember i had taken a break from the show and went back to my tent for a bit at Cypress. I started heading back during Sand and when they went into QT It was the jam of the night for me.

No.

What? That's crazy. I grew up listening to Phish on shitty aud cassettes so maybe that's why, but I just don't get this. I actually find that if you can get a good audience recording it can be more pleasant to the ol' ears than a sbd can.

That's a fairly unusual bustout. Heck, when they played it at Cypress, I didn't even recognize it.
