Long Exploratory Jams

Postby themomadans » Sun Aug 30, 2009 5:06 am

I remember there was once a YouTube vid (which I think has since been removed) of a Bag from (late?) '99, I believe and it was like half an hour long. Can someone help me out?

A few exploratory jams not mentioned (if they were, I did not overlook them intentionally):

8-10-97 "Cities"
9-14-00 "Drowned"
7-8-99 "Fee"
11-22-94 "Funky Bitch"
7-4-00 "Gotta Jibboo"
7-25-03 "Harry Hood"
9-17-00 "Mango Song"
12-31-99 "Sand"

I don't think that Boise "Bag" is better than MSG '97.

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

One concurs with Neil. The Boise Bag is amazing though!

Try the Headphones Jam. 50 minutes of non stop improvising in the barn. So so good!

That's the beauty of it. The bag question, It's not even a question to me. It's like "do I have brown hair?" Yes. For me. Yet others see it differently. Very cool.

Going back to Fall 97 again. All these 4-5 song second sets are super short!

Compare 11/21/97 to 1/2/16

60 minutes to 77 minutes. 1/2/16 is basically a 4 song set with 2 extra songs...
