the water theme from deer creek 09 was very appropriate, youve got water in the sky, ASIHTOS, and drowned. I was waiting for prince caspian and waves but they ended it with drowned. not the most appropriate placement of all time, but maybe worth mentioning
There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination. Living there, you'll be free if you truly wish to be.

possibly reminiscent of 3 Rivers GD 1995 Rain, Looks Like Rain, Samba In The Rain, Box Of Rain. It rained that day. but ASIHTOS Drowned was rad. My shift button doesn't work. :x

This is what I feel is the most inappropriate and then appropriate Phish song placements.

Saturday, 07/15/2000 Polaris Amphitheater, Lewis Center, OH
Set 1: AC/DC Bag, First Tube, Limb By Limb, NICU, Dirt, Roses Are Free, Wolfman's Brother > My Soul, Julius

Set 2: Down with Disease -> While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Makisupa Policeman, Piper > The Mango Song, Bug, You Enjoy Myself

Encore: Loving Cup

Wicked Second set that seems like it could go on forever. Mango Song jam is melting right into an all out Have Mercy jam, it's just missing the lyrics. All of a sudden Trey decides it's time to go elsewhere and plays Bug. Ugh. The crowd is devastated knowing they missed out on a real treat. The boys make it up to everyone with the YEM we all expected (seeing as it hadn't been played at Deer Creek or Polaris yet). It may not be the most appropriate song placement ever but it sure was appropriate that night.

Second only to the Somewhere over the Rainbow with the big rainbow in the sky
in Park City was:

Wind beneth my Wings seranaded to Col. Bruce by fishman in Knoxville. It seemed a perfect bit of lightheartedness and tribute at the same time.

"Look, the storm's gone." - I don't know if a three night stand has ever been as besieged by storms as this one.
