I'm calling nans. As in there will be shenanigans. They will be Phishy and likely involve donuts. Also they will jam and it will be glorious. Wouldn't be shocked if they didn't repeat a song after the 5 shows without a repeat to start the tour. That's almost halfway there!

CK5 will maximize the garden's house lights to their fullest potential. Like this:

oh i'm so glad to hear this thanks  it really was tho for some reason it got really quiet in our section ... i could listen to phish play that shreddy guitar/key duet section forlikeever

i've seen the discussion about expectations/speculations ... this is tricky for me. as someone who stores as many names and melodies of songs as possible as a DJ when phish tosses me a juicy donut full of theme how am i not supposed to get giddy ya know. but to be clear i don't have expectations (i think) ... and it keeps me on the sniff for teases every second of every show (tho three shows in there is no pattern of themed teases appearing)...

so with that i'll just say get your butts to the Jam Filled tuesday if you can and lets all sit down together
for their toast and their raspberry jam...

Listening to last nights JAM show and pretty awesome stuff in Crosseyed and Lawn Boy. Was trying to figure out if a list was released outlining all the donut/music themes but apparently it's not known until you show up, or maybe the donut tickets give an idea of what's in store. The article mentioned after sunday's show the JAM theme was revealed but doesn't say how it was done. Anyways, came across this brief article about the donut collaboration:

https://www.jambase.com/article/go-behind-donuts-phish-bakers-dozen-residency-felicia-federal-donuts

Possible Union Federal on night 13? I know it's not really a song as much as it's an informal jam but Fishman on trumpet could kickstart some loose jamming all the same.

Either way I'm guessing the last night is going to be a spooky show, a la halloween. But who knows, anything seems possible at this point.

They announce the donut flavor in FB/Twitter. They've done it day of show every show except the jam-filled which was announced about an hour after Sunday's show.

Heh, I called that one too and was pumped to see they played it. I still haven't gotten a chance to listen to that show yet though.

Maple donuts tonight. I'm gonna guess that leads them down a Canadian path and we'll get something from Rush like Tom Sawyer.

Anything for Jerry Garcia's birthday tonight?

Does maple in any way have anything to do with Garcia or the GD?

Looks like someone showed this to the band. Destiny, Tela, Oh Kee Pa and Esther can be scratched off!

[EDIT]
I Didn't Know opener tonight with a mid-set Sugar Shack.

So close! Why couldn't I have said, "O Canada - Trey tearing it up Jimi Hendrix style"... oh well. This was like when you say "Kobe" when you shoot a half court shot. You don't actually think you are going to make the shot, but then you hit the rim and for one hot second you think that you might actually sink it. Then it rims out, and hang your head while smiling.

Unless I missed something they haven't played a James Brown song since The Chicken in the 80's. Maybe bring out the GCH for a couple songs. They're due for a guest one of these nights, right? Anyways, due to this being their last week night show I think they throw down the best one of the run tonight.

Hmmm. Chocolate Peanut Butter dust...
Skippy is a type of Peanut Butter
Mice live in Holes.

Guys, it is too obvious that they are going to play "Skippy the Wondermouse" w/ The Dude of Life tonight. Last night's Mcgrupp was a red herring.

(I have never heard this song, nor did I know that it eventually became Mcgrupp until just this very instant.)
