Plus the length of cover songs affects how much in royalties are paid. Hence why there are "(Insert City Here) Jam" on a lot of LivePhish releases.

That would be cool with me too.

Rift would be SO cool to see front to back, but especially if they did some theatrics or stage artwork to go with it. Maybe bring out a horse. Turn the GA into a maze? Chop the audience into tiny little pieces and weigh them? I don't know, I'm just spit balling here.

the 2014 ??? set is 11.95.

the 2013 "Phish original" set is 11.95.

the 2010 cover album set is 12.95.

Extra dollar goes to paying artist fees.

henrietta wrote:No cover set......look at the price of the live Phish this year. 3 sets, no cover.

regular show = $9.95
10/31/14 = 11.95 (3 sets of Phish)
10/31/13 = $11.95 (wingsuit, 3 sets of Phish)
10/31/10 = $12.95 (little feat)
10/31/09 = $12.95 (rolling stones)

This.....the cover album sets were 12.95. This year it's only 11.95, just like last year. Not getting a cover album this year. Page and Trey have both said they pretty much hate doing it.

10-4

thought you meant the price compared to other 2 set shows this fall.

Well, that's a bummer, but hopefully means they've got something original up their sleeves.

Either way, 3 sets of Phish is pretty dopetastic

I'm down for a set of new stuff, or a cover set , or just an epic 80m Bowie. I'm easy to please.

What about a set of their own songs, just like a typical third set. Except it's all instrumental. No lyrics.
So, you could have a Sample with no words, just music. Then you could also have a instrumental Ghost. Imagine that one! That would be a pretty epic 15 minute instrumental "jam". Any song could have the potential to go waaaaaay out there. This could be pretty awesome.
Or just give me Possum on repeat for an hour. I don't care....I won't be there. ;)

Nah, I was thinking more like
2001, DWD->What's the Use?, Ghost->Lizards, Twist->waiting all night->Twist->Tweezer->Bowie
