That season premiere was...really something. Holy shit.

Episode 2 was cool.

You heard it here last.

I liked that episode. It was good to see life around the house for the Saviors. I'm curious how big their whole thing is. How many people? How many locations? (I do not read the comics. I read some a few years ago. I was trying to stay behind where the show was, but then I read ahead and found out Eugene was full of shit. No more comic for me. I prefer to watch the show not knowing anything about it.) I want to see some backstory on Neegan and the beginnings of the Saviors. And it seems odd that no one would have killed Neegan by now. Like that guy said, there is only one of him. And he's a really fucked up asshole in the fucked up zombie world. Everyone must hate him...some more than others. He's got Dwight in a stranglehold now with is wife and everything, but I think Dwight will play a role in taking down Neegan. Or not. If you've read the comic, don't tell me.

I guess nobody wants to take him out because they're too chicken shit to die. Whoever kills him would be immediate taken out by the loyals. I think I read in an article that Neegan was a used car salesman? I'm also not reading the comics and am interested to know how the hell he got to be El Duderino (if you're not into the whole brevity thing).

It's funny. I knew something like this was coming. Rick was getting too damn big for his britches and it was going to take somebody and something HUGE to break him back down. I have to say though, 4 episodes in and I'm already sick of the whole Neegan and saviors bit. I know it's not going anywhere for quite a while which is a bummer. I'm figuring at least 2 seasons of it. The show has turned into misery porn. I know they'll get back up eventually but that isn't coming ANY time soon and this season is beyond depressing. I hope it picks back up with some sort of victory soon. Throw us a freaking bone somewhere, maybe let Rick beat Spencer to death...can somebody PLEASE beat Spencer to death??
I've been doing this a long time and have seen lots of changes most of which I can't fucking stand...but I still go anyway because I'm there for the MUSIC and so I tolerate all that other bullshit because I DO get the point. So there :-)

For the first time with this series, I am up to date. Quite a wild ride this season!

^ Sweet

I like where they left off at the midseason break. I wonder what is going to happen when Negan finds out Daryl is gone. Will he go straight to Alexandria? How long will this Negan/Saviors story arc go on? What other horrors are in store for me as a viewer?

I read this every week:

I was watching Scrooged last week and I noticed Gregory from the Hilltop. I think he was a TV suit guy.

Season finale tonight. It will be longer than most regular episodes.

**SPOILER ALERT**

Probably my least favorite season finale of the whole series so far. The stage was set for an epic take down finale (admittedly my favorite kind), but noooooo. Let's drag this shit out for another season with a damn war blah blah blah. I'm getting seriously bored with the Saviors taking everybody's shit, threatening to kill someone every week, and those they take from plotting to rise up. Enough foreplay. Let's freaking do this shit.

I was beyond ready for Sasha to go. That whole thing she went through where she was lying in the ditch with the dead walkers and acting like a hot mess turned me off to her. She's been obnoxious every since. And good grief, I've never seen an on-screen couple with less chemistry than Sasha and Abraham. It's actually painful to watch them kiss lol.

The tiger coming in and saving the day was pretty epic shit, and I liked how the cavalry showed up to fight the saviors back. Ezekiel was actually kind of badass in this episode instead of obnoxious which was a welcome change.

I'm sure I'll watch next season, but it probably won't be with as much regularity. Hopefully the season 8 premier episode will be better.

Negan is quickly becoming an all-time favorite TV character.

^ I find myself getting increasingly annoyed with the repetitive staccato rhythm with which the actor speaks/portrays him.
