I think I'm gonna see Clutch at House of Blues in Boston 5/5. Tickets are reasonable, band is my current favorite. I hardly see shows anymore, besides Phish a couple times a year.

I've been really wanting to catch these guys live for some time now. Glad they are playing near me!

They are coming here to the RVA. I don't know anything about them but I have heard good things (from your posts and other boards). Might check them out but it's a weekday.

That is today! After reading all your gushing about these guys, I hope you are going. Have fun!

I have nothing on the agenda but SPAC and a few Furthur shows. I need to up the variety a little.

Taking the girlfriend to see Alice in Chains tonight. They are her fav band and couldn't pass up the chance with them here in Indiana. Bought 6th row dead center yesterday off of ticketbastard from the rerelease of band seats. She's excited which is great and I haven't seen them live so it should be fun. They are def third on my list of grunge bands behind pj and nirvana but it will still be cool seeing them. Too bad layne won't be there though

Side Note: Saw the Dalai Lama on Sunday. Very grateful for that opportunity. It's something a bit surreal being in the same building as such an amazing human being. If you ever get the chance it's well worth going to hear him speak.

^^ How was the show Phorbin? We're talking about going and seeing Alice in Chains here around middle of June. Does it hold up? Lot's of new stuff or mostly the classics?

I really have nothing other than Dick's lined up other than that.

^ It was good, esp if your a big fan. The majority of the set was first four albums with about 5-6 new songs. I had a good time and have a new appreciation for Laynes song writing. It's morbidly beautiful. I would go and check it out. I couldn't stand the opener but aic was good.

Only shitty part besides the opener, was the dumbass speeding ticket I got on the way home

Just here to report back that I did indeed go see Clutch, with my son, and with my band too ... and it did not disappoint. We got a great setlist, the opening band was good, had a good spot. Was everything I'd hoped for. That band is freaking good stuff.

My next show might very well be Phish, in Maine I guess it is. I haven't been paying attention.

Since Pearl Jam and Phish decided to be cool and play only outside of 10 hours from me, I am filling the void with other shows. Still going to see both once though

Aug 28: Ed Sharpe
Sept 2: Michael Franti
Sept 17: QotSA
Oct 5: The Lumineers
Oct 19: Robert Randolph & the Fam (Edit*)
Oct 27: Pearl Jam
Oct 29: Da Phish
Nov 6: Alton Brown (w/ Meet and Greet)

Busy fall, and hoping to add NyE Phish style to cap it off.
