Heading to a free, not so secret, secret Umphrey's McGee show tonight.
Buddy Guy should be playing with them too.
Some kinda benefit show. Only gonna be 1 extended set, but awesome none the less.
Warm up for UmBowl III on Friday.

It's nice to have friends in high places.

Don't know what one considers an agenda vs. just hopeful shows to see...but if they aren't they same I'm just leaning toward the latter in hopes I can get time off and make enough dough to do the following-

Weir-Robinson-Greene- 5/29 Asheville, NC
Futurebirds- 6/8 Riverbend Fest Chatty
Gov't Mule- 6/10 Riverbend Fest in Chattaboogie
Phish- Pmouth->Blossom 6/19-6/24, Oak Mtn->Lakehood 8/24-8/25 could be swapped with> Dick's 8/31-9/2
Furthur- Alfailpharetta->Cary, NC 7/10-7/11
tABB- ATL 8/1->8/3

I'm sure I'll a couple random other shows that I will become aware of at that last minute this summer, but this is what I am aiming at...most of the shows are spaced out so I think I'll be able to pull it off, may or may not actually go up to Chatt for Riverbend, or may just go up for just Mule
rather be on tour..

^ That looks like an awesome summer. Man, cut out half of those shows and it's still 100x better than mine.

Most likely:

Regina Folk Festival (featuring Mavis Staples, Emmylou Harris, and probably Michael Franti singing some Sesame Street bullshit) >

Dick's (Denvah!) >

Waiting for next summer's tour to be announced, only to realize I can't make it to any of those shows either. >

Repeat

Urghh....I gotta quit living up in the middle of nowhere.

Great show. Lera Lynn opened, decent, but wasn't feeling it at the time. Amazing close to 2 hour set of PB. Encore opened with a Doc Watson tribute. Great show all around. This is the second time I have seen them, and these guys definitely have fun on stage. The banter between songs is great. And all are masters on their instruments.

In the OBX on vacay for the week, so no AC. Bit bummed about that, because it seems like a bit of a rager. Heading to Marco Benevento next Sunday at the chameleon in Lancaster PA. Only $10! Also stoked to see Dr. Dog, Wilco and the Avette Bros at Camden in July. I'm hoping to do some ABB and Further as well.
Please me, have no regrets.

Do people engage in noizemaking at Fiona Apple concerts? What kind of crowd attends her shows? How was it William?

Sadly, after the next 2 nights in Saratoga I have nothing definitive on my show agenda. I will likely try to attend some or all of moe.down as the line up is pretty good this year. I have to start looking around.

7/21: XPNfest in Philly. Wilco, Dr. Dog and the Avett Bros. @ Camden. XPNential fest features many other acts too numerous to mention.
7/22: Dawes. Free at Longs Park, Lancaster PA
Please me, have no regrets.

Going to Night 1 of Bob Dylan's upcoming North American tour! The last show he played was in France, the next show...Lloydminster, Saskatchewan!!! We've got GA tix, so basically I'm gonna be front row/drunk as fuck for Dylan in a couple weeks! This is going to be awesome. Lloyd is a tiny border town (Sask/Alberta border) about 4 hours north from here that has a booming oil patch around it, but it is trashy as hell, and I can not wait to see Dylan there.

We might even make our way to Lethbridge, Alberta the next night, as it's a weekend, so wtf, why not?

The stupid thing is, if you look at the tour schedule, he's somehow making his way back to Saskatchewan for another two shows in October, which we will most likely be at as well, since one is in Regina.

I know a lot of people have not had many positive things to say about Dylan shows for the last couple of years, but I've seen him twice since '06 and I've left both shows incredibly happy and just had a great time overall. I hope that a lot of you go check him out this tour, as who knows how many he has left in him.

I'm more interested in seeing Mark Knopfler in all honesty. And I don't know about the rest of the places, but the Youngstown OH show is in a huge arena... not exactly where I want to see Bobby D.
