I don't know if any of you were even around when the band played the audience. The fact of the matter is that we all can't make individual moves. It just won't work. If anyone with half of an idea of what the game of chess is, is strategy. If you have 20 different people making the moves your going to screw things up for everyone. You make a move that will pay off 5 moves later. That's how the game works.
At the shows everyone met and discussed the move, made suggestions and then sent a representative up to make the official move. The only way this will work is either in a chat room where everyone makes suggestions and then a final move is picked or with a poll about what you think the move should be. Yeah everyone wants to play Mike but sorry this is about the Oh kee, NOT YOU. Get over it. This should be a fun way for us as a community to bond and to share in this unbelievable event.
"But I want to play Mike" sounds pretty selfish to me.
I believe he said I will play the Oh kee Pa, not I will play "insert name".
If we all stick together, we all can be part of this and all enjoy in this pretty cool event. I think those who actually put this in motion should be our representatives making the moves, but I think we all should have a say in the moves, that way we all can say we played mike.
