Too late to suggest to change one of the three WR positions to a flex?

I wouldn't stand in opposition to that idea, but I actually planned my draft around the 3 WR setup (My 1,2 & 5 picks were receivers.) My WR core was rated best in the league. I can't definitively say that I would have drafted any differently had that WR spot been a Flex.

I haven't played in a league with a flex player for a while.

Congrats to Buster for opting to auto-draft. That is a mighty good team.

My team has holes. In my other league, folks sat on RBs a bit longer, so I was able to pick up Ajayi in the 3rd round! In this league RBs were hot commodities, by the third round RBs were picked over.

Yeah, this is why I was apprehensive about suggesting it. This makes sense. It's just that with leagues with 3 WRs, it murders any chance of finding a decent on in free agency...but I guess it being a 10-man league will help reduce this headache. Maybe next year.

I just saw this Steve. I'll look into it for next year.

I live and die by the Steelers this year. I have Ben and LeVeon.

^ You'll probably be living pretty nicely, cause the Steelers are gonna kick ass this year.

They were talking shit about Gurley today on sportsnation, didn't realize he had such a down year last year. Hope he picks it up this year, cause like we used to say in Athen- I'm a Gurley man.

Jebus, Tom got 40.6 points from Hunt last night!!! Cripes!!!! Maybe LaVeon will have a good day against Cleveland to counter Hunt! If not, looks like I'm going to lose this week.

I turned off the game before when it was 21 - 27, and woke up to a very pleasant surprise, but anything can happen on Sunday! ODB might be out on Sunday, so I would have to start Moncrief... good grief.

I've been burned by rooking RBs in the past (Ryan Mathews) so I wasn't exactly optimistic about this guy. One game is a nothing of a sample size, but week one, Hunt did me right.

Yeah that was weird, I guess they weren't confident that he was ready to take a lot of hits yet. Y'alls teams still scored a lot of points. Nice starting out 1-0 against Golgi Packeratus.

Yeah, a lot of stars were crap this week. Lots of low scores. I was winning in two of my leagues before last night and ended up losing them all. Steve W somehow got 20-points out of Stefan Diggs for goodness sake. Stupid crappy Saints defense.

^ Though this was best draft I have ever had in the OKP league, I might try that next year.

Needless to say I am pleased with last weeks results. Hopefully Hill has some momentum going, but even if he doesn't, I doubt that my receivers will be as impotent as they were. My defense actually got me nearly twice as many points as all my receivers combined. Chalk it up to early season rust (Both QBs and Receivers), Beckham Jr. being out, Andrew Luck being out, and the fact that defenses have had weeks to plan for the week one matchups, a luxury they don't have for week two.

I see that Stevo picked up future HOF'er Tarik Cohen. Smart move.

One of the nice things about being abysmal in the first week is getting high on the waiver wire. I hope he works out since I picked him up in all of my leagues. In my money league, I have Tevon Coleman and Thomas Rawls so I desperately need RB help.

I picked up Tyrod Taylor as a back up QB and am weighing the options between he and Eli as a back up QB to Big Ben. Also considering starting Gillislee since the Patriots are playing the barely there defense of New Orleans and LeVeon didn't get many carries last week and is playing the Vikings this week.

^Maybe it's me but I have LeVeon in another league and I'd never bench him under any circumstances. I agree Minnesota is tough but part of his lack of carries was Pitt having like 140 yards of penalties and often putting them in long yardage. I think he'll be okay.

Unless you want to trade him to me. I'm open to that.

^ yep, I watched the Steelers game and every time he got a good gain there was a holding call.

Also I'm sure they are easing him into getting hit again after sitting out pre season. Probably thought they could get out of Cleveland with a W without him getting beat up too much, and they were right. I don't expect that strategy to continue for long.

Another good win for Spooky Mulder.

That Nelson injury really hurt Bastarde's team. He still has a shot, but what are the chances that Brandon Marshall doesn't get 10 yards tonight? 18% according to the win predictor. To add to the "drama" (it's a just for fun fantasy league) the game will be decided in a game between the Jets and Bastarde's beloved Lions.

^That's twice in two weeks that I've had a comfortable lead going into the late games and had someone go crazy on the other team to rip it. Last night was Devonta Freeman and the week before was Stefon fricking Diggs.

I guess I'm just glad the Allen Hurns grab worked and that my Seattle pick survived in my Suicide League. I pick them early every year and seems I always sweat it out.

The worst part about this is Marshall only had ONE catch for 17 yards in the entire game and that was still enough for Joffrey to beat me. Ug. Two losses in two weeks by 4 points total. Oh well...gotta keep chugging along.

On the bright side, the Lions are 2-0 and actually looking competent, especially on defense. Also, this is the one part of the year where I can brag about us leading the division before Green Bay eventually runs us down. So, suck on that, NFC North!

Loved it. Me and a few other Lions folks were really struggling to remember the last Lions kick/punt return and we couldn't.
