This should have been my first show. I wanted to go so bad. Earlier that day I did see them at the Presidential Rainforest Rally (anyone remember this…the whole “Spotted Owl” debacle) in downtown Portland. They only did two song accapella (Hello My Baby>Sweet Adeline…smokin’!!), and then Willie Nelson came out and played.
Instead, I was across the street from the Roseland at Satyricon opening up for The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Unsane. I ended up with an Aud cassette of this taped by my friend that I still have to this day. Wonder if it’s on the E-Tree Database…
