^^aliens appeared on earth. nassau coliseum left this universe during that jam.

so many highlights in this show. The Tube is an incredible opener. One of the greatest Stashes of all time… and I’m not all that Stash-crazy.

This set 2 is easily my favorite set of the Island Tour. the whole Wolfman’s Brother > Sneakin’ Sally Through the Alley > Frankie Sez > Twist is just so great. not to mention this set contains (arguably) the greatest moment in kuroda’s history:

Hell this is probably just my favorite show of the run even though 4.3 definitely gives it a run for it’s money. This is all from the point of view of some one who was at none of these shows though. But i do have the full vids of all these shows and have watched them extensively. This one just has the biggest affect on me i guess.

Gonna have to retract what I said here, listening to Halloween ‘10 Stash now and it is amazin’! I think was just hearing too many 2009 Stashes at the time of posting that.

Some thoughts on 4/2/98? Great show for certain. All of Island Tour is must-listen imo. I do need to relisten to those Providence shows some more though.

One of me favorite versions of Stash. The rest of the set sounds a little rusty, though the Tube jam is the shiz. The second set to me begins the epic journey that is the Island Tour…from the opening of that set the whole run seems like one seamless musical adventure and it’s hard for me to separate each of the nights as being independent events.
