Very funky Wolfman’s Brother. Worth checking out.

No doubt, some great Page playing there.

I love this show. Debuts of several classic Phish tunes, the Modulus returns after making its debut at the previous two Europe shows, and the funk the boys were toying with in February is really honed in. You could tell they spent a lot of time writing new tunes and practicing between March and June and were really glad to let their new tunes and sound develop onstage in Europe away from the spotlight. The highlight of this show is definitely the Wolfman’s. It’s one ofmy favorite versions. Also noteworthy is the Stand!->Izabella encore. While not quite as good as the 6/6/97 Fourth Ball show, I would kill to see them bring back this pair of tunes.
