^Hellz yeah William!

yeah, I’ve never heard much about this show and was just jumping around random shows on .net…seems strange that a 50 minute tweezer would get such little talk

I’m bout to d/l, but I would love it if a sbd would get released, just based on the setlist and show notes alone it sounds purty sweet-

(Amazing Grace) [1] Without microphones.
(Tweez) [2] 50+ minutes; Gypsy Queen jam, 2001 tease, Slave-like jam, and Digital Delay Loop Jam with whistling.
(Simple) [3] A cappella ending.

Performers: Trey Anastasio, Page McConnell, Jon Fishman, Mike Gordon

Notes: Don’t You Wanna Go was preceded by a Stairway to Heaven tease. This 50+ minute Tweezer included a brief Gypsy Queen Jam, a 2001 tease, a Slave-like jam, and a Digital Delay Loop Jam with whistling. Simple was performed with an a cappella ending instead of a jam, akin to the ALO version from December 8, 1994. Amazing Grace was performed without microphones.

Last time I listened to this was driving back from Bethel Woods in 2007. I think it is time for another spin…

NEVER heard of this!!! I know a great deal of Phishtory (not obvious tonight), but wowww. That’s my state, yo. 50-minute Tweezer???

This was a classic for me. My 2nd show of Summer '95 I believe… I had just been to Riverport and was definitely hungry for Phish. Mud Island is a cool little venue. I had never heard “Don’t You Wanna Go” and was excited Phish was playing material I’d never heard, even if it was a standard rocker. Very stoked on what I think was my first “Mound”, one my fave’s from Rift, and “All Thing’s Reconsidered”. When “Spock’s Brain” dropped I was certain the next Phish record was going to be a classic. Too bad we didn’t get studio versions of a lot of these new ones from '95 on “Billy Breathes”. I had seen the Providence Bowie and the Fox Tweezer in '94, and I was pleased to get another massive jam with the Steve Reich-like delay loops, but at that point, I just assumed it was standard fare! Damn… '95. I do remember the come down with “Acoustic Army” being blissful. I thought my first WMGGW topped it all off, until they dropped Simple for an encore taking me back to NYE '94. Oh, to be a fresh faced Phish noob again.
