Another epic Bowie. Summer 95 may just be my favorite tour for the Bowie. I like this one because Trey, Mike and Page all push the envelope pretty far and get kind of abstract, but Fish manages to keep a pretty sturdy beat throughout the whole thing so it pushes ahead in a great way.

I also love the Stash->I Didn’t Know. Granted it is not listed as a segue, but it is. The Stash rages but they never actually finish the ending like they usually do but rather sort of tease the “maybe so maybe not” refrain and then just build up this feedback-esque noise until they go into a very slow almost hymnal-like version of I Didn’t Know. Very Cool. While they scaled back a bit on the type II Antelope jamming for summer 95 compared to summer 94, this one brings you to that place where your head is just about to explode but they drop out into the funky “Marco Esquandolis” groove just in time

Hmmmm…I have never listened to this show. Where might I find a nice recording?

Chances are my copy came from here:
