[1] Brief DEG jam.
[2] Unfinished.
[3] Acoustic and without amplification.
[4] Without amplification.
[5] Heartbreaker teases.

Notes: BBFCFM was unfinished. Ginseng Sullivan was performed acoustic and without amplification. Amazing Grace was performed without amplification and was dedicated to David “ZZYZX” Steinberg. GTBT included Heartbreaker teases. Stash contained a brief Dave’s Energy Guide jam and Disease was preceded by a Bowie tease. Gumbo was played for the first time since April 21, 1993 (103 shows).

This show isn’t bad, but it’s not nearly as adventurous as the previous few shows save the DWD and Stash.

Aside from the Stash, the first set is nothing too fancy. The Gumbo hadn’t been played in a while, but it’s a standard version. The Stash is super sweet though, Trey continues to focus his solo on the same run he was using during the first few Stash’s of this tour, but it ends up going some place totally different before returning to the Stash theme. A very good version.

The second set has a really good Antelope, and a cool Forbin’s>Kung>Mockingbird. The DWD>Contact>BBFCFM is the highlight of the show though. This is the first time I can recall they went really “Type II” (if you care to use that terminology) with DWD…the theme totally falls away and they have a nice little jam before an awesomely cool segue into Contact.
