Remember this show fondly.

Recall being PUMPED for my first (and still) and only “Gin.” It wasn’t groundbreaking, but settled into a nice groove. The -> into “Crosseyed” was great, and it produced a great jam, too.

I drove to this show after playing 18 in the morning at my home course. Met a college buddy at his house on the northeast side of Indy (his parents were out of town) so I was staying with him to save me a drive home to Crawfordsville. For some reason, when tickets went on sale, I only purchased a ticket to this show. I was either short on money, or thought I could pick up an extra somewhere along the way.

I’ve listened to this show, but it’s been awhile. I was looking at this setlist the other day because it was posted on etree. Damn this show almost peters out as bad as 7/12/00.

There’s some definite petering in this show. But overall…not a horrible show. Probably in the bottom-half for 2004. Great segue into “Crosseyed” and ensuing jam, though.

Oh, and Trey holds a particular note in “Slave” longer than almost any note I’ve ever heard him hold, too.

How’s it compare to the sustain in Tweezer>Slave from this year? That thing goes on for like 10 measures.

I’ll have to check. It’s pretty long. I’ll have to give my answer in seconds, then you can translate that into measures.

The segue from Nothing–>46 Days has some serious Trey vs. Mike struggle going on. Mike doesn’t want to go into 46 days at all. Trey eventually wins the battle, but not without a serious fight of notes.
