^ I grabbed an aud last night. It’s so much better than the SBD.

The distortion is crazy on the LP download. The next night’s SBD sounds fine. Maybe Gary figured out the sound better that night.

This show is too rockin’ to not have a good sounding source.

Here’s the source I grabbed if anyone is interested that I think is fantastic :

I’ve only just gotten through listening to 6/24 through 6/27 once, and I liked the overall level of play at the Camden shows much better than at the MPP shows. MPP had some cool moments, but both nights at Camden were cool, even the schmaltz in the first half of 6/25.

And I’m really not sure which Camden show I like more. Just listened to the Hood, Fluff from this show a few moments ago, and they were just incredible. But the Possum the following night is probably my favorite performance out of the two nights, but it’s close.

Fitz goes with this show as being better playing, and I might have to agree with him. Further listening is definitely required, and there’s never anything wrong with that.

Just noticed something interesting in the song selection of the second set. IN C&P: “Sharp as a knife, facts cut a hole in us” -> Nothing “Nothing’s ensconced / Nothing’s entrenched / Nothing’s entangled or twisted or wrenched.” One the one hand, there are truths that we cannot change. We must live within the confines of reality. That is C&P. On the other hand, we are free to work within reality to create whatever we can imagine. Nothing is set in stone. We are masters of ourselves, of our lives, of the universe. Yet, we cannot ignore the eternal truths that have been set out in this real thing we call life.

Freedom to do whatever you want, inside the box.

If the box is absolute, is also its size and shape, and have we the freedom to impact that?

Well, really the box’s dimensions are only tentatively absolute. And no matter how absolute the boundaries are, they are constantly growing.
