I had a great time last night. I would say it is top 3 shows that I have witnessed.
Camden 1 had more energy though…hard for me to say though because my seats were way better that night as well.

Man, I love I Saw It Again…
That is one sexy Piper - something is so wonderfully different about the build
^ listening as I type. I can’t concentrate on the Piper cuz I’m still in awe from the ISIA jam! It is by far the coolest and most original part of this show so far. Possibly the tour!
All I can say is WOW!!!

Keith, those are some great pics!!! Damn you were close!!!
just got done listening to this show last night… and WOW… this is what we knew they still had in’em… THIS IS PHISH. there’s jamming and cohesiveness throughout this show that really hasn’t happened since pre-2000, imo… the piper jam is disgustingly awesome (7:47 mark is a good example)… and that gin peaked for about a minute straight or more. the ghost>JJF… forgettaboutit.
and plenty of more throughout the show that showed how tight they were, right on each others heals all night. and having a blast doing it, you can tell they finally let go. trey wasn’t forcing much at all like he has been, he was playing WITH the other 3 guys.
i’ll stop my gushing, but this show is really somehting else. damn i’m fired up

Did anyone else see Mike hold Trey’s guitar up in the air a la First Tube, after Walfredo? He held it up and to the sides jokingly, as if he were finishing up First Tube, then shrugged his shoulders afterwards as if to say, “How does Trey do that?”
Awesome show end-to-end and a second set that just may have made my summer so far. I had been waiting for a Meatstick for sometime and this one was a dance party. Needless to say, the rest of the set was a hell of time too. Nice running into you Henrietta, during the well-needed setbreak cool down.
This show is hot fire. I don’t know how else to describe it. That little segue-fest was so incredibly smooth, and all the goofy antics reminded me of some early 90’s Phish. Just amazing jamming, very cohesive and patiently done.
The Southern run is gonna be
.
Almost a week later and I’m still religiously listening to the second set from this show. Can’t get enough.
Top 3 Show for me
I have only seen like 19 shows, but I ve been into them since 2000 (horrible timing) and this is the first time I got a bunch of my non-Phish fan friends to go to a show with me, because it was a hometown show.
Since it was so hot we all brought squirt guns and water balloons to toss at people (we asked first, not bein dicks) people were loving this shit. We had a big ass water balloon fight in the middle of the lot, Great start to a great night.
First set I loved, but I had to keep my buddies up a bit for it. Walfreado, Mellow Mood, and Tela are great for vets, not so much for non-heads. They wanted to rock out and Phish did deliver with the My Soul, Gin, and Antelope. Friends loved it and one of them told me during the Antelope “I understand why you go see these guys so much!” lol. He didn’t even realize how apt his statement was that night.
Second set MPP 2 is exactly why I go to see Phish! First of all, I totally called the Wilson opener to my group. Super fuckin rock out opener! Meatstick was so outta left field everyone was just looking around with big surprised grinny faces (including myself!) and then turned into an awesome dance party.
Saw It Again started up and ripped this venue apart! People were headbangin’ everywhere. General consensus of my non-head fans and vets alike is from here on out this show went to another level and of course I agree wholeheartedly! I was feeling extreme happiness and jubilation throughout the rest of the night actually (no drugs , but I felt elevated).
Piper is the best they’ve played since the famed “Miami Piper” imho. Type II to the max and going places! Dancey fun improv.
Ghost is the only song I went into this show wanting to see and once again no disappointment, really funky jam that builds and builds into one of the rockingest fucking songs ever JJF!!! Totally caught me of guard and slapped me around. One of my favorite stones songs, I really couldn’t believe they were playing it in front of me. High fives all around for this shit.
Back into Saw It Again. Just fucking wow dude.
The YEM was stuck in my head for days with the “Boy Man, I Saw it Again” lines, pure greatness. Awesome Voc Jam too that freaked my friends out a bit lol.
I’ve gotten a lot of Fire encores in my times and its usually “Ugh, Fire again. Lets go.” This is the first time ever that I wasn’t disappointed with it as an encore. My friends loved it cause they love Jimmy. (I do to, but its a song they recognized so they cheered extra hard, lol)
I think this may actually be the best show Ive ever attended. None other has made me want to express myself about it so much. Maybe MPP in 2000, but a lot of my life is tied to that show. I could probably write a book about it.
too long didn’t read, i know. But thanks if ya did.
Peace,
CJ
I dont’ even think too much about what happened this first set. It was good enough to set up set 2, which I cannot stop thinking about.
Not sure if this show is surpassing 12.29.03 as my favorite show seen, but I think 6/27 set 2 is my favorite single set I’ve seen them play.
Camden1 was f’ing filthy as well.
I really dig the Run like Brian and Robertalope.
Best Phish show I’ve ever seen in person, hands down.
I was listening to this show again today. Recalling wonderful moments. Love that Mellow Mood.
I also remember Trey feeling it and rocking out dancing at the end of YEM when Mike comes in bumpin’. Any video of that floating around?
::It’s SOOO fucking hot::
