This show is also fucking sick. This whole last week or so of Summer 95 might just be my favorite run of Phish shows. They’re all so good. This one delivers a monster first set in addition to the stellar second. Every song (save for FEFY) brings a huge amount of energy. The Reba jam is very surreal-ish and then shortly after the Stash just fucking rages. Then just in case you didn’t get the point that Phish kicks ass after that Stash they round things out with a raging Fluffhead-Chalk Dust 1-2 punch.

Then there’s the second set. I really love this Tweezer and I think I may like it more than both the Fleezer AND Mud Island Tweezer (don’t hold me to that though). It’s kind of like it gets its point across without having to venture out into the nothingness for near as long. IDk, maybe it was just my frame of mind when I listened to it earlier. But Page owns this one (and the whole set for that matter)…around the 15 min mark they really pick up the tempo and it becomes really fast-paced. Page responds by absolutely blowing up his piano…I was on the expressway doin the :astonished: … it’s fab. Segueing directly into Gumbo is a nice change-up too. I guess maybe you could call this a “standard” 95 Hood, but that doesn’t make it any less special IMO.
