[1] Unfinished.

Did the couch tour of this one. While there were a few dips in energy and some sloppy vocals (Farmhouse, Strange Design), there were definitely plenty of great moments. All together they sound very locked in right now.

This is apparent, of course, on the obvious standouts of Bathtub Gin and Tweezer, but I would like to point out the great jamming on the unexpected, mellower songs like Roggae, Ocelot, Limb by Limb and Winterqueen. Some really really nice playing in there.

This was an average show but I think the average shows are getting better. For example, moments like the break into Caspian from Tweezer were much more harsh in 2010 and 2011. They are at a point where they have been playing enough again to be able to not have to try so hard to make each show a classic, which is allowing them the space to play truly classic shows, with shows that are just downright enjoyable in between.

Go Phish!

LimbxLimb and Tweezer had outstanding jams. Absolutely top notch, especially for this early in the tour. Can’t wait to hear what the rest of the weekend brings!! Have fun SPAC-PA,

The show was on the lower energy side for sure. The second set, jammed out, LxL was an unexpected, but very cool, surprise. Great Tweezer!
