Set 1: The Star Spangled Banner, 555, Kill Devil Falls, The Moma Dance, Reba, Waiting All Night, Runaway Jim, 46 Days, Rift, Split Open and Melt, The Squirming Coil

Set 2: Fuego > Down with Disease > Twist > Light > Theme From the Bottom, Backwards Down the Number Line, First Tube

Encore: Character Zero

This show was pretty sick. Lots of experimental improv within the first set (I think they jammed out everything except acapella Stars Bangled Baner and Reba. Some tunes had shorter improv moments but they went there. And I like the places they went to

The first 4 tunes in the 2nd set was just one long jam session that was chuck full of great exploration. I think in Twist they took it out, Type 2 style, brought it Back to Twist, and then took it back out again. Theme was the 1st tune they did NOT jam out and that was like a solid 50mins later.

I thought they would take BDTNL to new levels a la SPAC 2009 but alas, it was not meant to be.

I also thought I heard some weird Trey timing of his Guitar notes in 1st Tube. Like he was deliberately being 1/8 or 1/4 step slower than the rest of the band. Wasn’t sure if that was just me or the acoustics by me.

Overall a very impressive 2nd show of tour for me and a step in a very positive and promising direction!

Had a great time last night. One of the best first sets I’ve seen in a long time. It had great flow and song-choice, obviously; and they were playing really well, smiling and having a good time. Crowd was really into it. Not to take away from the first few songs played (Esp. Reba) but from Jim on was just downright ridiculous. Very enjoyable to watch go down.

2nd set got deep with Fuego>DWD. The crowd was loving every minute of Fuego, it’s a whole new beast to hear live. Nice playful interlude into Twist and a decent Light with a kinda forced ending by Trey and odd start to Theme. Number Line was the only low-spot for me but they redeemed it with a great First Tube.

Great show overall, I have to give it consideration for one of my top 3 shows in 3.0 so far. Here’s some pics I captured.

^Nice pics.

I had the pleasure of watching the stream last night. Superb show. They were locked in from the get go. First half of the second set was a sick jam fest.

That Reba was a thing of extreme beauty.
