That’s not a really pic is it

Looks real to me

This Sally should be heard by anyone who likes free improv.

What¿?¿?¿?(???

These fucking dudes are bringin’ it.

In the words of Jud at Superball, “3.1!”

I’m jealous. Apparently they played BLISTER IN THE SUN…TWICE last night! :open_mouth:

funny, i haven’t seen anyone say anything about trey wearing a flatbill with hat pins anywhere else…seems like an easy angle

definitely not photoshopped, they’re from the band’s shots

^haha nice, the dude’s lookin good

crimes of the mind tonight would be nice tonight…portland 09 was $$$$$$

I’m fairly sure someone threw the hat in stage

the last comment is my favorite…when I showed my star wars nut friend the light saber vid, one of his first questions was if Trey gave the saber back…I remember he did, as well as giving out the sombreros

I know people have talked about how Trey is a prick and stuff but I can’t see it…I guess back in the late 90s is what they’re mainly referring to, I don’t know

I want to second that. I went to a Disco Biscuits show on Thursday night, and someone threw a hat on stage. The band member took it, put it on, and walked off the stage with it.

Also, they stole the “See you in exactly 15 minutes” bit.

Crimes Of The Mind FTW!!! Nice post Hankster…I needed that!

I didn’t notice he gave the hat back. I saw that someone threw it up there to him when they were taking their bows after set 1 and he put it right on and then came back out for set 2 with it on sideways like that.

I’m not sure how giving or not giving back an item thrown on stage defines what kind of person you are. I have always considered things thrown up there to basically be gifts. Do the throwers expect them back?

Anyway, killer show. Rare treats of Paul and Silas, Light Up, Cracklin Rosie, and Psycho Killer (inside of a Tube sandwich!) The whole Fishman schtick was a lot of fun.The second set was more like a really great first set, but in a cool and refreshing way. I’m always glad to hear PYITE. The Sally was sick with a nice transition to Ghost and Antelope was fun and spirited.

Pretty good show, though when I listened to it it sounded a bit disjointed. Not that it made it less of a good show, but there wasn’t much flow in the first set especially. Maybe it was because the first 30 minutes of the show were kind of weak IMO. I love Runaway Jim as an opener but to follow with Ocelot, Heavy Things, and Back on the Train…there’s really not much energy there. But the rest of the first set is pretty fun, especially the Psycho Killer-Tube sammich. In terms of improv, the first set is really lacking in that department save for the Stash.

The second set had some oddly placed tunes, but nothing bad per se. But yeah, this Sally…super sweet and a nice segue into Ghost. Highlight of the night by far. I’ve been impressed with the Antelopes this tour too compared to the last few years.

Tube>Psycho Killer>Tube is notably tight.

I just listened to the rest of this first set and it is really enjoyable. Very fine versions of most these songs. Light Up and Corrina are definitely highlights.
