Coincidental page I found today while searching for video. I’ve been hearing that our Trey got hit with one last night. I’ve also heard he may have jedi popped it and it splashed Fishman. I would have punched the dude that threw that. Straight up. So disrespectful… I hope that didn’t affect Trey or his gear in any negative way.

^well the rest of the show after that point was mailed in trey band fluffcrap

so I’d say it definitely could’ve affected things

I thought this show was solid. First set was right and energy packed and capped off with good Melt.

Second set: I love me a good Numberline and I think it is placed better as an opener than a mid-set rip-cord. I thought Tweezer->Sand->Carini->Architect was awesome. Tweezer could have gone for a little while longer but I forgot all about it a few minutes into Sand. Carini was a great exploratory moment and the way Architect came in was perfect. After that it was time to deliver just a few fun tunes and call it, and that’s just what they did.

Trey sounds like he has changed his tone to a more liquidy, slanky one. I have mixed feelings about it but it blends into the mix really well and allows us to hear Page totally melting everyone’s face all night.

Just got home. Last night was a lot of fun. Place went nuts for that first tweezer. I enjoyed the short but solid jam. Carini pwnd. The whole night was ten times better than 7-5. I was dead center as far up as you could get up top. Nice breeze up there as well. Sound was excellent in that spot.

Had fun…Carini :smiling_imp:

roughly when did this water balloon incident happen??

^I think it was during Boogie On.

I caught it on the simulcast and thought it was pretty funny. Trey was laughing, the crowd was laughing. No need for face punching.

I didn’t think it was a water balloon. Looked like a balloon just drifted towards him and popped on his mic. I don’t think he’d be so giggly of so

A full-on water balloon could have electrocuted big red! It could have destroyed a 'doc! I’d punch a fool! But yeah, I’ve seen several people say ^that^ since I read that someone threw a full-on water balloon on different sites.

No fucking water balloon…it drifted up on stage and he broke it with his guitar head.

really shouldn’t be reading other sites

I’ve never seen so many terrible reviews.

It’s good to see good ol’ Pa-sitivity!

it was a balloon and had some shit in it and trey replied with “What the hell!?”

soooooooooo, someone tell me about this melt? best of 3.0?

Bug and Tube stood out to me this show.

I would say so,

The ending was definitely not the best of 3.0

:shh:

correct. it wasn’t a full water balloon obviously but it definitely had some kind of liquid in it. trey wiped his mouth off too right before saying “what the hell”. could’ve just been whoever it was that blew it up’s spit, idk…but yea, it happened during boogie on.

^Hence the Possum.

Great assessment of the show, was coming here to say pretty much the exact same things. I thought the second set was great shit. Really fluid and the Tweezer through Architect segment felt like a really seamless performance.

The Tube was awesome, I caught moments of brilliance in the SOAM, but I was amidst a horrendous traffic jam when I was listening to it so I want to go back and listen to the whole song again.

Seriously though, you get 20,000 people together, a large portion of which are highly inebriated, and somebody’s gonna do some stupid shit before the night’s over. They’re used to it, I really think Trey is over having a hissy fit onstage about stuff like that. The end of that set/encore seemed pretty standard 3.0 end of show wrap-up to me.
