Wow. This show is awesome for so many different reasons. Definately a top 10, maybe a top 5 for me.

^ Really? The Chalkdust is pretty good I guess. I don’t mind the Tweezer either, but the rest of the show seems kind of uninspired imo.

I’ll uninspire your face!

I probably wouldn’t go as far as to say uninspired, but like you said, Chalkdust and Tweezer are pretty much the only thing in this show that I listen to.

This Chalk Dust > Roggae is one of my favorite things Phish has ever played.

On Coricidin it’s so intense

The Chalkdust can easily take the cake as the best jam of the show. This is just the definition of a soaring jam. Roggae that follows is a pretty blissful version. Water in the Sky is actually a very above average version, in my opinion. This is the fast WITS and has some very good soloing. Back at the Chicken Shack is cool, this version is the only one that I’ve heard, so I guess I can’t compare. Sparkle is Sparkle. This Gin gets into some nice funky set I jamming territory, probably redeeming a lot of people’s interest after Sparkle (not that I have a problem with the song). I think that Golgi is always a really solid first set closer.

Tweezer is approximately 20 minutes and ventures into some serious '99 alien funk from what I remember, I really like this one. This show was the first place I heard Mountains in the Mist. It’s a real nice tune, especially since you probably don’t hear it extremely often. This Birds of a Feather is one of the best versions I’ve ever heard. Birds seems to kill every time they decide to do an extended jam on it. Circus speaks for itself I suppose, I really like the song. I don’t remember much on the quality of this Fluffhead but considering it’s the closer for a show as sick as this, my guess is that it is also sick.

WMGGW -> Tweeprise Woooo! Yay! Time to go home.

I still stand by my statement that this is one of my favorite shows, hard to say if it could make a “top 10” list if I was to ever have one but it’s definitely got a shot I think.

I’ve always enjoyed this show, but after listening to '99 up to this point, I can see why this one was chosen for release. As mentioned before, the CDT>Roggae is a moment of absolute bliss. The way Chalkdust never fully leaves the theme, yet manages to melt my ears through headphones is unbelievable. I will always have a special place in my heart for Chicken Shack. Bathtub Gin definitely tears the roof off the place as well, with possibly the most interesting part of the set for me.

Second set Tweezer opener goes right into space, and is incredibly enjoyable. Mist is a great cool down, before firing it back up with Birds, and another cool down with Circus. Very comparable to last shows Divided Sky, Train Song, Llama, Driver. I could definitely get used to that progression of types of songs, but nothing wrong with a couple ragers back-to-back. And the Fluffhead that closes out the set is possibly the highest peak of the entire show. Pretty standard for the first 3/4s, but the energy that comes around from the final section just screams through my speakers.

A bit of a sloppy Guitar Weeps, segued beautifully into Tweezer Reprize.

This is definitely a great show, and worthy of the original Live Phish treatment. I had heard it once I think as an audience recording, and then many many times through the soundboard. This time I listened to the audience recording again, and it is truly great. To be able to hear the crowd at times totally makes this more enjoyable to listen to.

Chalkdust Tortue>Roggae, Bathtub Gin, Tweezer>Mist, and Fluffhead are all amazing highlights.
