First time played can turn into 30 minutes? What a great band.
After a fairly soft west coast swing this show got me real hard!
This second set is very different. Me Gusta!
The energy in the moments between the end of creature and when Fishman kicks it back into Mr C was amazing.
I really dig the way the LivePhish series has had art themes, similar looking artwork for shows (and on tickets too) throughout a year or a tour.
There were three 2003 shows released on CD close together, with similar artwork, and dammit: I’ve always kinda wanted these. (the others are 2/28 & 7/29)
I’m now 1/3 the way there, picked this guy up for about $15. 
Got some Phish loot coming in the mail next week.
Now I just gotta see if I’m still on this total Phish bender a week from now knahmsayinbrah
^Of the three 2003 shows they released, this is the one I listen to the least. It is a really, really good show, but I don’t like skipping songs, and there is a giant void in the middle of the first set. That second set could go toe-to-toe with pretty much any other second set ever.
But make sure you get your mitts on 2.28 and 7.29!
Yeah, I couldn’t find those for less than like $40 each, so I’ll have to shop around, or strike it rich, maybe take up a life of crime.
