was there.

LOVE this venue. easy to get to, no parking drama, and plenty of fine BC dank on the lot (at least it was in 99 and 00).

we had lawn tix for this night… good vibe, packed pretty tight so we were a good distance up the slope.

chalkdust was a pumping opener that did the trick… so was much of the first set. always love to hear a Sloth. i know it was a lot of compact songs but really great rocking energy.

the jump off in the 2nd set is the 2001. i could tell you a story about the Kuroda lighting and a Konica Film sign out in the city to the north, but its way deep. suffice to say, there was some SERIOUS synchronous reality melting shit going on between the music, Kuroda and this damn Konica sign.

the Misty Mountain was pure devastation… felt like the place was gonna burst into flames… awesome

other than that… i think i remember miracling someone a lawn ticket… oh, and we DEFINITELY saw a jedi roaming around the lawn. CONFIRMED.
