^ well, all i know is that the Jim > My Soul, Stash, Vultures and THE ENTIRE SECOND SET is must-have stuff. the DWD -> Mike’s is some of the more creative shit i’ve ever heard teh phishies do.

Not to mention the Taste, w/ epic thunder early in Page’s tremendous solo coming thru loud and clear. It seems to inspire the band even more as they are locked in while Trey rips a blistering melodic solo. Just love this Taste!

No love for this hood yet? Trey’s melody is similar to the went hood. kind of like a diet great went hood melody. Both are bliss.

And the scream he lets out of his guitar at 12:10…it sounds like a human voice. So much emotion.

So, watchin’ the DVD of this show again, I notice during Simple they have an inset onscreen of a guy signing the ‘simbop and beebaphone’ lyric for the deaf. Clearly, he’s having trouble because of the … uhh… Phish slang let’s say. But, why is this on the DVD? It’s curious, I find. Anybody know or ever hear anything about this? Why is a guy signing the lyrics at a Phish show? For all the deaf fans? :eh:

He wore that the whole tour. Word on the street was he wanted to be taken more seriously, or there was some woman he wanted to take him more seriously or something like that.
