Skipped the first set, will visit it later.
Carini is lovely, dissonant Carini-ness. Buttery smooth -> Ghost, sounded wonderful even with the LivePhish app gap.
Another immediate drop into playing as a single unit Ghost jam ala Chicago night 3. I like this and hope it continues. I think Ghost has made a strong showing this tour.
Steam goes into the storage shed without totally departing from sounding like Steam before a nice -> into mango. Not as smooth as the -> into ghost from before, but I’m sure it was great live.
Mango > Monica (I’m refusing to call this song Sing Monica
) a nice late 2nd quarter/early 3rd quarter interlude. I really like Monica, and now after listening to it I’m sure it will be stuck in my head tomorrow.
Light again showcased the band playing with cohesion, love it.
2001 was nothing out of this world, but when the band is on like they now, it’s definitely a dance fest.
Hood has been quite possibly been the song MVP this tour. The band has breathed new life into this old classic.
