Best 3.0 Hood? It’s got my vote :open_mouth:

I expect Hood to go deep every time now. They’ve really breathed new life into it

Harry Hood is right.

I drove from Austin that morning. I stopped at home to shower and kiss the family, and then it was a quick drive to the venue.
Something to see on the way:

Not much of a line at the door.

Right before I went in I met up with Levi and his girlfriend. That was great. (OKP forever  )

I saw a lot of people in the pit who were also in the pit in Austin, including the guy with the Connection sign.

First set was very good. I was really excited about Guelah Papyrus and PYITE. (I had called PYITE as the Austin opener, so I was happy to get it the next night.) Fishman on vacuum for I Didn’t Know is always fun.

Second set was good too. During the Simple jam Trey started playing the opening to Silent In the Morning. (I thought the jam could have kept going…) Page was not aware of what was going on. He kept jamming, even after looking over at Trey one time. Trey just kept playing Silent until you could see Page suddenly realize what Trey was doing and switch to Silent. I think Fuego is just OK, but everyone knew we were going to hear it. ^, ^^, ^^^ Hood…yes.

When they came out for the encore it was fun to see Trey consult with the crowd about the Connection. The guy with the sign was pretty excited. (Thanks for bringing a sign. I’ll take any extra songs.) First tube had that theater rocking.

What a show. What a venue. (Air conditioning in Texas in July…ahhhhhhhh.) I can’t wait to do it again someday.

Someone had a sign for the connection…
