This “Light” from last night is beautiful. I have really grown to love this song. Never would have thought that it would turn into what it has judging from the studio cut.

Love what I have read, DL’ing now… Tasty!

Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Great show. Lizards encore obviously made my night. Only thing better than that was chillin’ with the good people of the Pa!

man I am really digging this first set…46 Days intro really packs a punch, the whole set is just rocking really, very up tempo…i love high speed Phish

The light my goodness the light!

So, what you guys are saying is, the “Light” is growing brighter now?

hey dudes,
Where do you guys go to download these? I listened to the Greek all at yawningdrone.com, but I was looking for somewhere to snag these bad boys (other than livephish)

thanks!

This was my kind of show right here. This might have been the best show I’ve seen since SPAC 2004. When I say best, I guess I mean my favorite as there are many schools of thought on what makes a show good. I loved this. They seemed hooked up at almost every moment in the show. I’m sure this show won’t get the praise it deserves due to the seemingly increasing demand for ‘crazy setlists’ and all, but who ever doesn’t give this show a good listen is missing out.

For me what made this show special was the energy…it came from within the jams/solos/improv and not from the mere fact that they’re playing a rare song. There’s nothing wrong with the latter, I just find it more impressive when they get into the thick of things and make this creative energy. It was a lot of fun. This show convinced me 100% that I should go to Deer Creek.

Completely agree. Gave this Second set a spin last night as soon as I got home from work. Right back to listening to it again this morning. Light->20YL is new school Phish at its best. Love how both have progressed into absolute monsters. Hood, Theme, Suzy, Slave…hell the whole set just kicks!

Love the notes Trey plays in the E-minor part of Slave. Usually reserved for some heavy metal type riffing he plays a run of notes that sound absolutely beautiful here.

20YL is one of those songs that I didnt care for when I first heard it. But I love when, over time, the band proves me wrong.

THERE it is…you sir, got your Lizards!!! We told ya it was coming

Sick show, probably my favorite to listen to of the three. Trey was doing that streets of cairo tease throughout both nights of Hartford earlier this summer.

Great show. I can’t get enough of the Light jam.

That 2001 intro was pretty cool how Fishman just started the groove without any weirdness buildup. It just kind of popped up out of nowhere

This Hood is spectacular… by far my favorite 3.0 Hood.

Slave was excellent as well. They truly did sound hooked up all night, as Doug said. Hopefully this energy will continue on to Deer Creek and beyond.

have had this second set in my head at work all day. might have to give it yet another spin when I get home.

most solid 2 set show since the comeback IMO. Jamming, song selection, placement, communication, just all general next level type of stuff…

Turned the corner this weekend.

Best 46 Days I have seen as well as a contender for a top Light (Gorge '09 still might top it). Suzy>Slave is pretty damn money too.

But the highlight of the show was being with Doojer and Doojette when they got their LIZARDS!!! I could only imagine what was going through their minds. I am sure you guys were used to not seeing it, and by the time the set ended, you probably figured “maybe next time”. And then to have the boys play that encore!!! Great cap to an amazing run of shows.

This Light is definitely up there with the Gorge '09. It’s also a contender for jam of the tour. After the Type I jam, everything goes quiet and Trey lays down a nice little pattern of notes. Within seconds everyone is one it and the theme grows for the next 5 minutes. They are all so tuned in to each other that it’s like they’re writing a song in real time.
