Set 1: A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing, My Sweet One > Wilson > Timber (Jerry), Roses Are Free, Rift, The Moma Dance, Ginseng Sullivan, Wingsuit, It’s Ice > Bathtub Gin

Set 2: Chalk Dust Torture[1] -> Tweezer > The Lizards, Makisupa Policeman > Ghost > Harry Hood > Tweezer Reprise

Notes: This show was webcast via LivePhish. After Roses Are Free, Trey gave a call-out to Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo (aka Gene and Dean Ween), encouraging them to get Ween back together. Trey teased Call to the Post at the end of Bathtub Gin. Chalk Dust was unfinished. Hood contained a DEG tease from Trey.

I have to admit, I can be a jaded, shithead, Phish fan. I would say the overwhelming majority of shows I have seen are average, with more below average than above. 2015 has been an entirely different story. I have been fucking spoiled with some A+ shows, and this is definitely one of them. Blossom, Nashville, and Alpine 2 were all just the bomb-motherfucking-diggity.

Get your grubby little meat-hooks on this show and devour it start to finish.

Blossom was amazing, the night was perfect, and I just danced like no one else was around all night.

Tweezer is just wonderful. I especially love the section around 13-14 minutes where it sounds like they’re gonna jump straight into a melt jam. A+ stuff

Yes! My favorite Tweezer of the summer so far. Jealous I wasn’t there. Also can’t wait for the monster Carini we’ll be getting at Dick’s.

That second set just phlows. Very jealous of that Makisupa. That’s my jam.

Tweezer is just wonderful.

Was even more impressed by the Chalkdust…part of that thing sounds composed around the 10-minute mark. Makisupa was a perfect “unwind” song after the three jams before it. Strangely Hood may be the weakest jam of the set…

I just love that this summer is full of comparisons such as these. There are so many shows that could be thought of as “the best show of tour.” I love that.

Agreed. This might be the most focused jam I have seen, and I loved the segue. I don’t know which I liked better Blossom Cheezer or that nasty Nashapaug, but those were probably the best jams I saw (in person ) this summer.
