this was my first show, I thought at the time it would be the last. I was 15 and with my sister (19) and father. Unfortunately this was prior to when I began toking with my pops. I was stone-cold-sober for the show. amazing night. I saw Mike drive past in his golf cart while I was waiting on a garlic grilled cheese (which was amazingly delicious!) Our seats were page side about as far back as the soundboard.

and what can I say about this setlist… Divided Sky is my most favorite Phish song ever, the special guest who sang Tears of a Clown after both Trey and Fishman failed at it had tig ol bitties… Antelope why were you without lyrics? … this setlist is lacking Fish Vote 2004, Trey asked Page and Mike (I’ll give it a 2 on a scale of 2-3) what they thought of the “Fishman tune” and then the audience voted. general consensus seemed to be that the Fishman tune could break a great show or it could make for a great show depending on how it was deployed

yeah this was my favorite show of the last run. camden was better musically but I had way more fun on this night. looking back on that tour is weird for me now that phish is back…

we had a crazy day getting our car out of the impound after it got towed in downtown Boston the night before, but still made it to the lots by 6 or so.

Suzy is really crunchy from this show. I haven’t enjoyed any '09 Suzy’s nearly as much as this one. The 2001 from this show is the best version they’ve played in all of '03, '04, and '09, imo. That might not be saying much, I guess, but it’s pretty awesome. Mike owns that Tweez–>HYHU too. I love that shit. I wish they would have gone back into Antelope to close the set or encore…
