After the mindblower of the night before, this show was good medicine. Very well played and mellow. It was just so pretty! Highlights were the 1st and second sets! The encore rocked also! Aslo to note they tease Tweezer again after the 2nd Landlady. sickness!!

this was my 1st show…

trey walks out for first set and greets the crowd in a way i’ve never seen/heard since! fortunately its caught on the taping that circulates

a must-hear Reba. you may not like it because it is so different from just about any other version, but must be heard for its unique jam… all about hooked up rhythmic patterns.

great venue, kinda like a mini Blossom in that the pavilion is made of wood and has a natural setting to it. plus the hill of the lawn wraps around to the sides of the stage. anyone else remember seeing people swinging on the tree branches over there during the show?

2nd show. I really wanted to go the next night to Indi but it wasn’t in the cards. So I had to wait until Chicago for number 3. This show really impacted me and set me on my course to being a complete fanatic!

just being at this show for me was remarkable for so many reasons.

besides being my first phish show it was really only the second concert ever for me too. summer 93 was between my freshman and sophomore years in high school. a kid in the dorms the fall before was my “first contact”, but i was too square to follow concerts. thankfully, my friend was more in tune to things than i.

it was weird too because i didn’t actually really “get” phish yet after this 1st show, but somehow i knew i would basically see them every time i could from this point on.

grand rapids 96 is when i got “it” finally…

It was my 5th show. What a great time for The Phish! I think it was the most Gamehendge I’ve seen at once. (sadly)
