Listened to this second set off Yawning drone this morning.

Some extremely solid playing here. Ghost, Theme and YEM anchor this second set, and Trey absolutely shreds WMGGW and zero. Killer encore too!

Energy in the venue last night was palpable. We had an absolute blast. This show might not look like a rage fest on paper but it was really, really fun. We were talking to the couple next to us all night (Adam & Katie) and when they went YEM > PIper > and into the ambient piece of Piper Adam and I were talking. He’s saying “2001? Will they do it? No. No. They can’t do it. They WON’T do it!” I said, “I think that’s where we’re going!”

Boom! 2001 and there were hugs and cheering all around in our section. It was a fun, amazing moment and that encapsulates why I go to see this band live. Unreal. I love it!

Even my wife, who we playfully call “The Civilian” in our Phish group because she’s just a casual fan, at best, got “IT” last night. That’s how fun it was. Great playing all around for this long-time head.

^Missed ya Ben, glad you had a good time!

Well, I literally just dropped off Judson and Pei-Yi and had to come on here and share the incredible time I had with the rest of you. The OKP friendships that were formed & grown were equally as good as the music, which was incredibly tight Phish. We are so lucky that we have this amazing music in our lives.

Last night was all about ENERGY. The second set was probably the tightest I have seen them play 3.0–I won’t say it was the most experimental or unique, but goddamn it was tight. They fed off the crowd SOOOOO much (good job 25,000 people). This is the new Phish…nothing new at all really, except four musicians that have grown SIGNIFICANTLY in the last couple of years–for the better. As far as talking about the lot scene and stuff like that—Why? When you have music that good and you are seeing it with your dear friends, new friends and even acquaintances—nothing else matters.

If you haven’t listened to this show…go to www.yawningdrone.com NOW! Peace!

Like Ben said, the energy was absolutely NUTS last night, and one of the best shows of the weekend — my second favorite following 8-13.

A HUGE Ghost>Theme absolutely melted my face, and It was so awesome to hear YEM (One of my favorites I’ve heard in 3.0) in the middle of the second set instead of ending it. So good to hear Trey absolutely SHRED BBFCFM, and an absolute gorgeous ambient Piper jam flowing straight into 2001. That jam was so good it had all the spun 18-year-old chicks in our section leaving for the bathroom to puke up its awesomeness!

Oh yeah . . .and a not 1, not 2, not 3 but a 4(!) song encore! Plus, my dance partner wasn’t so bad either

DID ANYONE SEE THE SHOOTING STAR BEFORE 2001?!?!!?

I am glad to see that this board was just as happy with the AV shows as I am. The lot was literally disgruntled after the first night, to which I could only think was: “WOW, I hope I never become so jaded that I could be upset about a Phish show, especially a great one like this.” Everyone I spoke to about the 8-14 HATED it (DOZENS OF PEOPLE). So they were all expecting magic this night. I personally love 8-14, I thought it was the best that I have seen since the reunion. That is until SUNDAY!

TWEEZER OPENER! This was the big one that my list was missing, and I love ever second of it. Obviously it was not the greatest one ever played, but it was certainly no slouch.

YEM! This was my second YEM, and I have to say that it was amazing, the trampolines, the jam, the vocal jam, the fact that it was longer than the studio version, my first one was not.

I have to apologize that my reviews aren’t more descriptive /comprehensive. I just felt the need to say that I loved the whole weekend, but Sunday was just absolutely fantastic, and in my opinion, which is not a popular one I see, the better of the two nights, and probably the best I have heard them play since the reunion.

Much like the first show, decent first set with some definite rough spots. David Bowie was great and worth mentioning.

Second set was killer though. YEM>Piper>2001 is some serious greatness.

Excellent encore too.

I love this second set for just continuing to get bigger and bigger. I mean, half of those songs could be set closers. While I was there, I lost complete track of time.

That right there was key. Two brilliant segues, particularly the spacy Piper>2001.

^^^wow I’m surprised people talked shit about Saturday.

that might be my favorite show of the whole 2nd leg! (without listening back to any of them yet, just by feel/experience)
