LISTENING.
HAVEN’T HEARD THIS IN A WHILE.
WHY HAVEN’T I HEARD THIS IN A WHILE?
I SHOULD HEAR THIS MORE OFTEN.
THIS WAS ONE OF THE FIRST XL II’S THAT I HAD.
I STILL HAVE IT SOMEWHERE.
'TIS A BIT OLD AND BUSTED.

I was fortunate to drive out for this after the facemelt of the Michigan part of Aug '93. Yes it was rainy. Our tix on my mother’s stolen gold card had been cancelled. It was o.k. we got in for $5 each while in the ticket line (not sold out). We had been listening to the Harpua from '92 NYE run, and were jumping and hooting and hollaring when Oom Pa Pa came out! We grabbed front row Mike and and got the “you guessed it” nod after I wouldn’t stop yelling “Freebird” into Mike’s mic. Mimi was epic! The whole she-bang was epic.

Epic indeed, this is a great show! I’m surprised there’s not more comments. I wish Poor Heart still ripped like this. Jazzy version of The Wedge here too.

This Antelope is outRAGEous though. There’s a section where Trey is howling one or two notes over and over. It’s pretty nuts and deserves a listen. Ginseng Sullivan has Trey on acoustic guitar if I remember…

YEM has multiple jams.

Chalk Dust will make your head explode. You want to listen to it.

That’s still my “go to” Wedge! They haven’t intro’d it like that in ages!
