Uuhhhh! Super nice! On the road to Atlanta now, see some of you fuckers there!

For those listening to the stream last night, there’s some good points, some bad points… there’s some good points, some bad points…there’s some good points, some bad points…

Yeah…this trip back to Alabama will not be remembered as EPIC…still tight though. That is one thing we cannot bitch about. Just cause it’s vanilla doesn’t mean its not delicious. Let’s hope that rainbow sherbet comes back out tonight for ATL. They seem to be on an every other night swing when it comes to pulling out the “Phishyness”.

problems at the phish gamehenge time factory

double-post.

my keepers from this show are BOTT, WMGGW, RnR>Lizards. none are all timers but they all felt and sounded really good, with RnR probably being the only one that would be playlist suitable.

I had a great time and thought the second set was great. Wasn’t a huge fan of the venue…just not my style. Basically a clusterfuck and was not able to find breathing room and be able to see the stage simultaneously. But I was being pretty picky that night.

I’d say the RnR->Lizards and the Slave were the highlights, but I personally found nothing but pleasure in the whole second set.

holy shit man are you doing the whole tour? just crazy you’re way down in AL from MI!

yeah i’ve relistened to set I but i have yet to relisten past RnR>Lizards in set II… tho i do now remember the Sand sounding pretty fierce at jumpoff.

No Lisa and I were vacationing in the Smokies for 4 days and it just so happened to coincide with two nights of Phish down south

Yeah I had a really good time at this show, it was pretty on par with Charlotte but for some reason the energy was more raging in CLT…guess I had high expectations on that aspect since AL has been so phish deprived, but the truth is it was full of arm crossed past and present frat stars…at least that’s what it felt like where I was

Waste was literally the only slow song played all night, unless you lump Sample in with it…I believe Trey flubbed a lyric in Disease, and it must’ve been bad if I caught it, I usually do not…anyways, the more Mountain related songs they played the more I thought Icculus might be coming…thought the first set was done after Julius, couldn’t believe it when they dropped into WMGGW, however I’m not sure if they should keep playing that song, I expected more from Trey in the solo and it was pretty tame, but I haven’t listened to a 3.0 WMGGW in a long time (or really any other than 'ween 94) so maybe it was on par

I don’t know, this show just seemed to get over shadowed for me just from huge contrast between ATL and CLT…but this first set is just straight rock and roll (well maybe not Lawn Boy), I thought Trey botched the beginning of the Lizards solo, that was the one of the songs that really made Phish click for me, particularly that solo so I’m a bit more critical of it than most Phish songs…sort of thought Twist would be super trippy, also something very strange happened toward the end of Boogie On if I remember correctly…2001 was sick though, seems like its been forever seen I’ve caught that fucker…also Slave was killer, the ending was amazing and the jam was beautiful

hightlights for me:
Julius (also, thought this was much better than most Julius’s I’ve seen)
RnR>Lizards
Sand
2001
Slave
