There are other meetup threads about the tour, but this is specifically for Chicago. Gamecat, I know you said you won’t be there. Anyone else? I bought tickets last Friday when the preorder started. I’m really excited. Northerly Island should be great for a summer show. Anyone been there?
Yes, I saw Trey there last year, very good. He played great.
The sound is good and there really isn’t a bad place to sit.

We’re getting closer to the show. From the reviews I read, they are tightening up and polishing their tunes. It should be a great night. That Northerly Island area is awesome. I’ve never been to a show there. An Oh Kee Pa meetup will be cool too:

I have two other tickets, but no one has claimed them for sure. I’m planning on riding a train into the city and taking a cab to the show. That should be simple enough. Driving into the city sucks.
Just got my tix yesterday! I’ll be there with my buddy, so it’s on! I went there for a show a couple of weeks ago. The place is super-duper! Not too big at all, and the sound is great. I’m thinking that a good meetup place is around the VIP area. When you walk in through the main gates, just keep heading back, past the stage to the smaller “vending” area. The VIP lounge is there. Since I couldn’t get my hands on an OKP Lounge shirt, most likely I’ll have on my yellow Mike’s Hard Bassade shirt. Yep, I’m gonna be “that guy”!

Phinest, around the VIP area sounds like a good meet-up place to me. You’ve been there, so you seem to know the place the best. Is this a general admission show? Are all the shows there general admission? There’s no need to call me Ghost. 
My name is Eli. What does everyone want to do? What is the best way to meet-up? Should we exchange cell phone numbers? What time is everyone getting there? Doors open at 5:30. I hope to be there around that time or earlier. There is plenty to see…lots of sidewalks and trails to walk around on.
Ghost (Eli)~ Yeah, it’s a GA show. So I’m hoping to get there before the doors open so I can claim a spot up in the front. Although, this week at work, the CEO, CFO, and all the other head-hanchos are coming into our office, and they are having a “round table” meeting on Thursday from 1-3 in the afternoon. So much for my f’n 1/2 day!!! So I won’t be able to get out of work until about 3:15, then having to go from Woodfield to Downtown, I’m gonna be cuttin it close.
If you want to, shoot me a PM with your cell # and I can call you when we’re heading into the pavillion. I still think that having a group meet-up near the VIP area would work best. BigB, Leo, Cactus, any other ideas? Oh, just in case we don’t meet-up before, I’ll be wearing a shirt with Ralph Wiggum on it, I have short hair & a beard. Keep your eyes peeled!

Just got a call from the guy who was supposed to go with me. Apparently the his boss is on the rampage and firing people if they fart wrong, so he cancelled on me. And my fiance might not want to go, so I may be making this trip solo. Either way, I’m gonna be there.
Does anyone know how tickets taste? I have a feeling i’m going to have to eat 1.
