Hey my favorite 10klf-ers. I’m also sorry to say that I will also be skipping 10,000 Lakes this year as well due to family obligations. Mainly because I’m planning on also hitting up a few other festivals this summer as well, and it would be kinda irresponsible for me not to show up and chill with my family. We don’t get together very often, and there is also gonna be a keg full of local microbrew. Its one of the few times I get party down with my siblings and shit.
But, I will be back in Minnesota next summer, dontcha know. If any of you guys wanna come over to NY and rage Camp Bisco, Gathering of the Vibes or moe. down lemme know!
I’ll miss you guys so much, and i’m sorry to miss your band play, Tube. (you guys should play in NYC!) Rock out extra hard for me, dudes!

What do you all think? If I waited 'til I got down there to get tickets, so as to avoid shipping and administrative fees and shit, will I be out of luck? I would still get a camping ticket in advance, but I just have no idea what prices are going up to as of May 18th. If I buy the tickets sooner I’m definately going, but I’m worried that if I put it off it ain’t gonna happen.
well if you’re gonna buy your camping pass, you might as well get your ticket too since shipping is gonna suck anyway…

The 10,000 Lakes Festival announces the addition of The String Cheese Incident to the lineup, confirming a Minnesota performance on their summer tour. The Colorado-based group has spent more than a decade making innovative, genre-defying music and will perform two sets at the 10,000 Lakes Festival Friday, July 20 on the Main Stage.
oh man…oh man…what did I just do? At least we still get Bobby, but damn damn damn…Well we get to see String Cheese one last time. They’ll pull out all the stops this year since they are closing out the festival. Even still…FUCK!

Hey man, you were being as negative as I am. I’ve gone from disappointed to excited in the last 20 minutes. Bobby closing out the festival should be sweet. I’m down with bombarding them with Page requests. Imaginge, Page late night…mmmmmm.

the weather, camping, and friendly vibe are good selling points, besides the music.
^ for real. it’s one of the best fests in the country, IMO…untouchable vibe.
I read a rumor that Page and Fish are going to be playing in the Everyone Orchestra. Now, I may have started that rumor, but the fact that it’s spreading is a positive thing.
Fishman has been playing in the Everyone Orchestra as of late.
I know he will be playing with them on Jamcruise this year, so Fishman being there is a good possibility.
As for Page, I don’t know. I’d say he’s less likely.
Who knows.
