Ryan’s right…you can hear the music really well in some spots in Northwoods and it is a closer walk to the music. Also, a lot more shade. I’m down with the 'woods again.
I feel the tide shifting!
Gamecat seemed pretty determined to get Lake Sally this year…maybe we can convince him. If not, its not like we all need to camp together. I’ll probably be camping with the Fargo crew, hopefully not too far from camp ohkeepa.
And, when I was talking to a few of my friends about this, they all bristled at the idea of choosing Lake Sallie over Northwoods.
Thank you for the welcome back… I took some time away to refresh the brain and not get caught in the old sit in front of the OKP site and drool syndrome. I had a plate full of work and stuff on the home front to focus on also…
But My trips to the OKP are coming around…I missed you’ll also… I cannot wait to share music stories and fun times with everyone very soon…

i really liked your site last year too, you guys had a solid place. and granted salie can suck if you don’t get there early, but we had one of the best spots in the place and loved it…shorter walk for us than you guys to the music actually. but regardless, that’s where my destination will be cuz we’ve got a whole crew of people goin there, but no worries at all…we’ll throwdown. but you gotta at least make it over to our site for the disco party, we’ll have one big one for sure…

Dude…I’d LOVE to come to Minnesota. But I can’t swing the work schedule to make it so. July is my busiest month according to my recent bookeeping. I can make the Kansas trek in June with no problems. But July is just too taxing on the books as well as employees. Since I am #1, I have to stay put in July…

I don’t know about everyone else, but my initial excitement when the lineup came out has waned greatly since. I mean, the lineup as it stands doesn’t do a whole lot for me.
I just saw that Waka got MMW. If 10k gets them, that would help. I just need more meat! SCI on their farewell tour? WSP? Claypool? Mike?
I mean, the camping and festival aspect of it will of course be fun, but I’m just not very excited for the music yet. I suppose since Trey has announced the continuation of the horns lineup, that’s what we’ll get at 10k. That’s sweet.
yeah if he isn’t rehabbing it up, i wouldn’t bet on anything from Trey
wow, that’s surprising. i love this line-up already. besides the bigger names…you got Little Feat (love them), dumpstaphunk (heard they’re NASTY!), gov’t mule, everyone orchestra (always a favorite of mine)
and trust me hank, once the additional artists are announced you’ll be more than pleased. this WILL be one of the best line-ups this summer for festies. mark my words.
