I’m glad Keller is back, and the New Riders of the Purple Sage IS interesting.
But I too am looking forward to 3 or 4 more bands that at least peak my interest as much as New Riders, with one big name (WSP!) being one of them.
I’ve never given Gypsyfoot the time of day, but a close friend of mine whose music judgment I trust says they are a cross between OAR and Slightly Stupid, or something like that. Thats no good.
Also, he’s totally turned off by how much they glorify “tripping” and getting fucked up at their shows. His impression has made me never want to hear them.
Who knows though, maybe I’d like it.
Anyway, Fancy Bastard is the headliner on this bill, biatch!!
^ actually, i gave the headlining spot to gypsyfoot. (they’re bigger than us and it was kind of courtesy thing with them being the guests in town - it’ll help down the line) although we’re calling it a co-headline, they’re playing last. all the posters make you think otherwise…ooops.
but i love those guys, i think they’re pretty damn talented and their sound has really evolved in the past year or two. i’d check’em out again if you get the chance.

Thanks man, I too would have liked meeting ya, I was having one hell of a good time out there… And yes, that is a huge bottle of gold bond wrapped up in that crazy diper of his. Most of the weekend he would have a rope around his neck and the other wook would be holding onto it like it was a chain or a lasso, or something, and he would spontaneouly whip him with a gentle whip… And he would go EH Ah! and slap the shit out the gold bond spraying it everywhere all over himself and the air… it was sooooo funny! I think my friends and I strated calling him the gold bond donkey… I can’t honestly say how funny that shit was out by the main stage… AND THEY DID IT FOR 3 DAYS… You would have thought the guy would have gotten tired or worn out, and been like what the fuck am I doing…but no
