About the soundchecks, I missed the trey soundcheck last year on Sunday, and later heard that it was much better than his actual show (which was lacking).

yeah, my band opened for Green Lemon here in minneapolis a couple weeks back. they hate trey cuz he was soundchecking during their afternoon set on the Field Stage, drowning out their tunes for a half hour or more. so they dedicated a song to Trey and went into R. Kelly (Chappelle) “Piss On You” and “Smack By The Pound”…hilarious!!!
btw, i really liked trey’s set last year. i’m sure my state of mind might have played a role, but i saw him twice prior to 10k and he was terrible comparitively speaking. ('Roo was the worst trey ever)

i think trey’s 70VP is getting better and better, they’re lineup is finally solid, with the new drummer addition a while back. i still think they can bring it!

Damn…I was originally gonna go to 10K Lakes but it looks doubtful to me now. It’s right smack dab in the middle of my store’s busiest season and Waka is my only self-described vacation until December.
Oh well…it looks to be a GREAT FESTIVAL!!
