there’s probably a dozen or so fall/winter 99 shows I haven’t ever heard before. this is one of them.

was at this show. one of my favorite fluffs and a nice bowie in set one.
an oddly nice mike’s groove in set 2 including a caspian that i could actually tolerate.

I’m sitting in a great government structure in MD at the moment after driving down here this morning while listening to the first set of this show, and I just felt it imperative to let you know how great this set is.
I mentioned above how good the Fluff was, but this set not only had a stupendous Bowie, the Possum was nothing to sneeze at as well. Solid NICU, rocking My Soul, an intense Jiboo were nicely nestled between top notch versions of Dirt, Frankie Sez and Circus.
This set is classic '99 Phish, one to be savored at every point. Can’t wait to listen to the second set on the way home tomorrow night.
