Ghost steals the show.

Haha!! You didn’t get ne this time, Phish!

Thought you were pretty clever, didn’t you guys? “Oh look… its our only west coast show. let’s give em another Mike’s>Paug and see if we can’t make that doojer guy have an aneurism”

Pretty funny guys… but I didn’t go! I saw that puppy coming from a mile away.

Nice try!!

I’m glad I could take that Mikes Groove off your hands. That was show #7 for me and my first Mikes. Best Mikes Groove I’ve heard in a long time. Now if only I could get my Reba tonight, I would go home a very happy man. Sick sick sick Ghost last night, which is awesome becaue the only other Ghost I saw wasn’t really one of my favorites (Alpine '09).

Anyway, I think we’re gonna head into Denver right now. Can anyone recommend anywhere good to eat?

Sam’s No 3 for dank-ass breakfast burritos. Or Ted Turner’s place for a dank-ass bison steak/burger.

I really liked Duo and Gaia Bistro when we were out there for Red Rocks. They were both Brunch-y kind of places and not dirt cheap… but super good. Duo was a little more of a hangout and had a bar and stuff. Gaia’s more like a little cottage restaurant.

^ Oh look at mr. fancypants with his links. Who’s he tryin to impress anyways?

Listening to this right now… can’t wait to hear the second set, but on the Funky Bitch at the moment. It’s Ice was fucking SPOT on!

where are you finding the audio? i can’t find it, and phish.com looks to be slightly jumbled right now so that i can’t DL the SBD.

Loving Cup on now. Judging from this show, I’d say this is gonna be a hell of a tour.

so nothing was said during Makisupa?

you mean the makisupa lyrics?

yes

Woke up this mornin’ alien on my face
Woke up in the afternoon and I turned up the bass

Policeman came up to my door I asked him what was his rank
Then I reached over and handed him the dank

those were the verses

I found an AUD on bt.etree.org

This Ghost really is the bees knees.

There’s definitely a JJF tease at around the 11:10 mark of Ghost.

I’ve listened to this Ghost twice now and I’m not that into it like everybody else is. Well, from about 10:30 on it is righteous. But up until that point it just sounded like Page/Mike/Fish holding down a decent groove while Trey fucked around with that damn Whammy pedal and was playing notes that just didn’t work to my ear. It wasn’t horrid, but definitely not my favorite part of the show. That would be the Slave, which is awesome. And the show as a whole is great.
