This first set features some gems in terms of 94 setlists. Bathtub Gin was far less common then and this was the first of the tour. It also happens to be a kick ass version. Forbin’s>Mockingbird is always a winner in my book. I’m not a huge fan of Divided Sky per se, but Trey destroys this one, as you would imagine.

The second set opens with The Curtain, awesome, but the segues after that were probably pretty predictable for this time. A lot of Curtain->Tweezer and 94 is THE year for the Tweezer->Lifeboy segue…barely inseparable. Still this Tweezer is fucking awesome. It starts with some great early Phish funk, gets dark, goes to that complex rhythm place that lots of 94 jams do, then builds back up into Tweezer guitar solo. After that though there’s really nothing much going on until the Ya Mar, Cavern encore with horns.
